There are so many things for which I’m thankful – the traditional things around family, friends, pets, and such and the non-traditional things like great pie.
But the two things that are top of mind for me this year are being thankful for
- silver linings
- the eyesight with which to see those silver linings.
Without going into detail on that for which I needed to seek the silver lining, I choose to focus on …
….the silver linings in my life that I’ve been fortunate enough to recognize over the past 2 years. Specifically, those silver linings include a stronger relationship with my spouse, kids with healthier value systems, a deeper knowledge of what excellent education looks like, and an understanding of the depth of our community’s caring for my family.
This Thanksgiving and this coming year, I wish for everyone to have the strength, wisdom, and eyesight to see the silver linings.
